There are three main seasons in Thailand: rainy (around June-October), hot (around April-May) and cool (around November to March) and in general, the best time to visit Thailand is during the cool season.
If you are visiting the beach, the climate differs between the eastern and western coast. The west coast (Phuket, Krabi) is more favourable between November to March while the east coast (Koh Samui) is better between January to March.
